Dr Deborah Ng is a Consultant Infectious Diseases physician at the National Centre for Infectious Diseases (NCID) and Tan Tock Seng Hospital. She graduated from the University in Dundee in 2009 and obtained membership of the Royal College of Physicians in the United Kingdom in 2012. She also completed her Masters in Infectious Diseases from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine in 2015. 

Dr Ng also has an interest in public health and obtained her Masters in Public Health from the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health in 2019, and previously held an appointment at the Ministry of Health, working on HIV, STI and TB control. 

Dr Ng is also Director of the National Tuberculosis Programme (NTBP), and works together with its Public Health Advisor, to develop and implement national TB strategies towards reducing the incidence of TB in Singapore.
