Clinical Assistant Professor Tan Seow Yen is the Head of the Training & Education Office at the National Centre for Infectious Diseases (NCID). Clinical Asst Prof Tan's work involves infectious diseases training and education activities, and infectious diseases outbreak preparedness trainings for professionals at the institutional, national and regional levels, as well as community and public education on infectious diseases and outbreaks.
Clinical Asst Prof Tan is also the Acting Head of the Infection Prevention and Control Department at Changi General Hospital (CGH), and Consultant in the Department of Infectious Diseases at CGH.
Clinical Asst Prof Tan's main research interest currently are COVID-19 diagnostics and therapeutics.
