HIPPOCRATES stands for Healthcare professionals for Informing Practices and Policies in Our Collaborative Response Against Threats from Emerging infectionS.

What is the aim of HIPPOCRATES?

To gather information on the systemic issues that shape the experiences and challenges Primary Care Physicians (PCPs) face when managinginfectious diseases. The principal investogator is Dr Chen I-Cheng Mark.​, Senior Consultant at NCID.

What is the inclusion criteria?

Participants must be a Singapore Medical Council (SMC) registered doctor currently practicing in a primary care/ GP clinic (can be from public or private sector).

What does the study involve?

  • Complete periodic surveys approximately every 3 months.
  • Each survey is expected to take up to 10 minutes.
  • Questions asked will be related to primary care such as diagnostics​, therapeutics, care models, logistics, operations, communications, and implementation of public health policies.
  • Your participation is voluntary, and you can withdraw at any time.
